Gráinne got in touch with us from The Fraser Shaw Trust interested in getting some help with the Trust's digital strategy. There was an upcoming CD and tunebook release so it was important to get the website up and running first of all. The website needed to have some key elements: Firstly, it needed to be a modern, responsive site that provided all the Trust's details and stregthen the visual branding. Secondly, it needed to provide a space to add in all the events that the Trust were running and also have a shop to sell the CD and tunebook from. During the build we also thought it would be a good idea to provide a donation space to enable visitors to give more whilst browsing. As the Trust is in memory of Fraser Shaw we also wanted to have a gallery where images of Fraser could be uploaded. Waving Bear were involved in all aspects of visual branding, deciding on colour schemes and also the logo for the Trust. On top of the web build we also did all SEO for the site and built the email templates for the email marketing campaigns as well as setting up and running Mailchimp for all future campaigns. Waving Bear will also be working alongside the Trust on all of their social media strategy going forward.

The Fraser Shaw Trust was set up in memory of a much loved guy and wonderful musician who passed away in May 2015 after battling with MS and eventually PML. The trust will raise funds for MS charities through a range of projects celebrating Fraser and his music including festivals, concerts, recordings, whisky tastings, the release of his tunebook, and more.
